ORGANIC FOOD FOR SCHOOLS AND CATERERS
Since 2007 the Lower Hurst team have been working with schools and wholesale caterers to become a trusted producer of high quality organic and free range meat.
As well as providing beef from our own farm, we also source from other UK certified organic farms with full traceability. We only source meat from farms with the highest standards of animal welfare who nurture and care for their surrounding environment.
Our products are made to the highest standard by the Lower Hurst team onsite at the farm’s butchery. We work closely with each of our customers to tailor the product to their unique specification.
To ensure the quality and freshness are maintained, our meat products are blast frozen guaranteeing a consistently high quality product that is easy to cook, with little or no wastage.
We work with The Soil Association, Red Tractor and SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval).

SALSA is a food-safety standard written by experienced food safety experts to reflect both the legal requirements of producers and the enhanced expectations of 'best practice' of professional food buyers.
The Red Tractor logo allows people to recognise food that has been produced to high standards across the whole length of the food chain: from farm to packet.
