Organic Food for Schools 

Lower Hurst Farm,  Organic Food for Schools is a new venture, founded in 2007. We supply farm assured, organic beef and beef products to Local Authorities and individual schools in England.

We use beef from our own herd in Hartington or from other UK organic farms as local as possible to our customers school. Our product traceability is exceptional with each animal carrying full UK organic ID and the name of the farm of origin.

We have our own butchery, development kitchen and high-tech kitchen equipment to make the nutrionally balanced organic food on-site to our own exacting standards.

We welcome schools to visit the farm to discover how their food reaches their plate. Schools can book visits throughout the year.
